Rustic 19th century country English farmhouse blanket chest or storage trunk crafted from thick pine. The chest has a tapered form topped with a hinged padded flat top. The top has newer fabric with a delicate light green laurel leaf stripe pattern. The interior is lined with linen and the chest is supported by round bun feet. Provenance: From the estate of Ira Yeager Calistoga, CA. Perfectly sized for the end of a bed or under a window.
