A really nice modernist minimal embossed serigraph by American artist and designer Judith Hendler. The piece is nicely framed. It is numbered 47/500, entitled "Water Edge" and is signed by the artist in pencil. There is also a gallery label on the rear describing the piece and indicating that it was originally purchased in 1983.
The subject is a graphic representation of lake or river edge scene with forest and mountains in the background and marsh grass in the foreground. The paper is embossed with sculptured texture in places.
The piece is in excellent condition with only minor wear to the frame and some scratching to the acetate cover. The art is bright and clean with no staining or damage. It is ready to hang.
This is a large piece measuring about 49" x 31" framed.
