- This beautiful desk / table does show use and wear appropriate to its age. The top shows dark marks, scratches, … moreThis beautiful desk / table does show use and wear appropriate to its age. The top shows dark marks, scratches, and use (with the shiny surface it was difficult to photograph.) The previous owner in order to get it through the doorway separated the feet from the rest of the piece. The feet are not glued to the rest of the table but the table fits firmly into the slots of the wood. We chose to leave it the way it is in case since the height is larger than a typical doorway if turned on its side. It is definitely beautiful, usable, and extremely sturdy.
