This luxurious mahogany box set is covered in luxurious shagreen, edged in an ivory marble. The natural shagreen is a light amethyst/gray color. The all wood interior appears to be mahogany. Made for Maitland - Smith Ltd. in the 1980's in the Philippines. Brown velvet covered bottom. It would make a beautiful addition to a tabletop or vanity. Perfect to store jewelry and personal items.
