The chest has three large drawers with brass pulls, two of which are slightly different from the others which further enhances the personality of the piece. The aesthetic, however, is very rustic. You can see the drawer fronts show signs of wear and tear. The wood, on top has developed a deep patina from years of use. This piece is old. You can see in our photos that the original hardware has been replaced. At some point, brass pulls were added. These too have a wonderful patina. The 2 pulls shown on the right lower side of the drawer fronts are similar to the others but are actually different. This adds to the personality of the piece. The drawers function well and this piece is very stable It is actually quite heavy. less
