We have for your consideration a very beautiful vintage postmodern 1980s tessellated marble and stone and brass trim jewelry box designed by maitland smith. Box is not signed but does have a sticker from Jeffrey’s green house store on melrose in Los Angeles that did sell a lot of maitland smith designs in the 70s and 80s. I have purchased this box and many more items that were never used from Jeffery’s green house that are new old dead stock. This box was never used and very clean for its age. It was stored away since the store closed and this box was never used.there are no chips or cracks or damage to this box only the bottom we’re it sits shows some slight wear. This box shows great prismatic colors that illuminate any room. such jaw dropping colors when walked into a room. What a exquisite elegant box that will brighten up any dresser top. And sure to bring a touch of elegance to any mid century postmodern decor.
