Offering a remarkable Neiman Marcus porcelain hand painted Ginger Jar, circa Mid - late 20th Century. This ginger jar is signed on the bottom: Neiman Marcus and has a gold foil label stating that it was hand painted in Macau, China. Most likely this item is from the 1970s when Chinese import was very popular. Included is the original Chinese black painted wood base that came with the ginger jar.
The Ginger Jar has two vignettes...one on the front and one on the back. Both scenes are of an English horseman and two other horseman in the background while preparing for a casual ride or fox hunt. Although this motif is very British in nature it is a Chinese hand painted jar with lid. The lid also has an Equestrian scene on the top with a sophisticated black and metallic gold border.
EXCELLENT CONDITION.......NO FLAWS....JUST PERFECT!
A great item for a mantel, desk, bookshelf, side table or console table. Perfect for the trending Palm Beach Chic or Boho Chic style decor. Done in the "STYLE" of Gucci or Hermes.
