A wonderful, zen inspired traditional Chinese wood carving, possible rosewood from the Chinese Republic Period. This 14” tall statue depicts a fisherman carrying his catch of two large fish, his fishing net & basket. He is wearing a hat on his back. Glass eyes and teeth. In excellent condition with period wear and patina. There is a 2” wood age crack on the base. No serious damage.
