Description: Mid-Century Modern Lucite Swiss Cheese Slice with "gold" metal mouse in rare pristine condition. 1960's, possibly very early 70's original … more Mid-Century Modern Lucite Swiss Cheese Slice with "gold" metal mouse in rare pristine condition. 1960's, possibly very early 70's original edition of this fun modern accent that is as current today as when it was originally released. The brilliant reflection of light from this small piece makes it stand out on it's own. Most striking when placed where light reflects off of it or passes through it. Designer Carleton Varney issued a reproduction of this vintage lucite piece a few years before he passed. I cannot find an image of his edition at this time.

This was displayed in a closed glass cabinet in a non-smoking home. The lucite is scratch free. Beware of those with missing mouse tails or scratched lucite. This piece is part of my personal collection and was purchased by my Mother.
