This is quite a find!
This Neoclassical Style Ebonised, Gilt Wood Jardinière or Planter and Pen-shell, has all the bells and whistles.
The planter is black marble, the decoration through out is of ebonised wood and Pen-Shell.
The tripods legs have tessellated Pen-shell on wood.
The large base is also ebonised.
Very good vintage condition, consistent with age and use
