This Paul Klee vintage 1967 " Mountain Village Autumnal " 1934, authentic Abstract lithograph print is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
Paul Klee ( 1879 - 1940 ) The Swiss born Modernist artist is attributed to creating some of the most original and colorful paintings of the 20th Century. Klee was an educator at the famous Bauhaus School in Germany. His work reflects the styles and ideas of Symbolism, Expressionism, Cubism, as well as the simplicity of the Bauhaus designs.
The vintage lithograph print features an artwork image originally created by Klee in 1934 titled " Mountain Village Autumnal ". The lithograph print was printed in 1967 in Japan. It is a page from an authentic vintage artists publication. The lithograph plate is attached to the page with a method called tipping where it is attached by hand on 3 corners. This lithograph print is suitable for framing.
The print measures 7 1/4 W X 9 1/2 H, on a page that is 9 W X 12 1/4 H. There is unrelated text on the reverse back side of the page that refers to a different artwork image. It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age, and very light signs of handling. It has never been framed. Please see photos for condition reference.
