Frame is made of bamboo wood. Traditional auspicious motif of cranes, pine trees and the Japanese rising sun. The mythological tsuru (crane) is a fortunate creature associated with immortality, longevity, and prosperity. It is also considered to live for a thousand years.
This 79 inches long x 50 inches tall fan makes a wonderful decorative piece as chinoiserie, wall art tapestry.
Condition: Good for its age. There is some damage of the bamboo frame. Item is sold "as found". We have attached a photo collage of the damages, please take a look. Price has been reduced accordingly.
