A stunning sideboard from cabinetmaker Niels Vodder imported from Denmark by Illums Bolighus. This is a highly south after cabinet and rarely comes to market. This example from a single family owner on Long Island New York. The couple purchased the sideboard while on their honeymoon in Copenhagen Denmark in 1959. The cabinet features beautiful fins reminiscent of Finn Juhl’s designs however Finn Juhl is not attributed to this design. Stunning tambour doors conceal removable trays on the left side and a shelf on the right. A finished back allows this piece to be enjoyed in any part of the room. Provenance available.
