A signed French art deco hanging fixture around 1935 in nickel plated bronze or solid brass holding a large bowl by Degué in thick clear frosted molded-pressed glass. The pendant is in very good condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated fixture. The chandelier has a height of 53,2 cm (almost 29 inches) and a diameter of about 44 cm (17,32). the bowl measures 37,5 x 37,5 cm in square. It's a nice model Degué made around 1933-36. In 1936 the Degué plant stopped its production and the firm closed in 1939. The bowl is signed Degue and marked France with the model number 1056 on the rim. The pendant is rewired and holds four American candelabra base sockets.
