Handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960, this vintage tribal kilim rug from the Baluch tribe is the latest to join Rug & Kilim’s collection of coveted flatweaves.
On the Design:
Specifically believed to hail from the Leghari clan of this nomadic tribe, this 5x6 flatweave boasts a montage of classic patterns sitting comfortably on brown. A keen eye would note a delicious play of red, blue, orange & green beautifully punctuating the richer tones with vibrant colors and movement.
Condition:
