Made in Scandinavia in the … more Elegant and exotic, this set of four nesting tables takes inspiration from traditional Asian furniture. Made in Scandinavia in the 20th century, the design borrows the tropical motifs of warmer climes to brighten Nordic winters. The legs of the table are carved to look like sprouting bamboo stems; a spiky tracery of overlapping bamboo leaves decorates the apron. The natural asymmetry of these organic elements is counterbalanced by the harmonious geometry of the silhouette—in particular the elegantly contoured lower stretchers. The deep red undertones of the richly polished wood create an impression of warmth, luxury and wellbeing. less
