- I did clean the top of the table and rubbed Howard's wax on it and through out the whole table. … moreI did clean the top of the table and rubbed Howard's wax on it and through out the whole table. There are a three very small dark, scorch marks on the top of the table. Some of the varnish or finish on the legs have like crazing, but not through out. The mechanism underneath the table to lift is all very clean and in nice working condition. Overall, this is a very nice piece for its age and is ready to use. You will not have any repairs, all working great and lovely patina, just a good wax finish at your pleasure. less
