In all my years in this business, I have never had or seen a bronze sculpture of a Curler. This bronze sculpture is really fantastic. The (obviously)Scotsman in his Tam o'Shanter hat, his stance and his determined look of concentration on his bearded face gives you the feeling that he is just about to show you how it is done! The old style broom and heaving clothing makes you feel he is from a bygone era. a man who started the game.

Signed A. Allen, numbered, 19/50, and dated 1996 under his coattail. He measures 13" tall x 8.5" x 8.5" not including marble base. Marble base measures 1.5" tall x 12" x 8". You are not going to find another sculpture like this one, not the subject, not the quality.
