One of the greatest albums of all time, The Clash released "London Calling" in 1979 to great critical and commercial success. The legendary album from the London Punk band has an equally iconic cover & poster.
Depicting bassist Paul Simonon smashing his guitar on the floor photographed by Pennie Smith, the cover was stylised by graphic designer Ray Lowry and is considered one of the greatest ever. Lowry repeated the image on this original release poster from 1979 to great effect resembling a piece of Pop Art. This exceptionally rare piece of music and design history is in fantastic condition and has been backed on museum quality linen to ensure its preservation for the decades to come. less
