This set of four original Louis XVI armchairs dates back to around 1830 and comes from France. The elegant armchairs have an oval shaped backrest, The four fluted legs are connected to the slightly curved armrests. The chairs have beautifully carved rosettes. They are in very good refinished condition, with new upholstery and are covered with a light blue velvet fabric on the front and a very pretty cherry blossom design fabric on the back of the backrests.
