Offering a gorgeous early 20th century porcelain dresser box. The lid features an ornamental ormolu design of laurel wreathes and floral swags topped by a mound of pink, hand-painted rosebuds. An incredibly beautiful piece.
This box is in very good condition with a few tiny chips/nicks to the tips of a few petals. Impressed numbers 2408 on the bottom of the box as shown, but no other marks. The box is most likely German, possibly Dresden or Elfinware.
