A Masterpiece in crystal from the Master Cutters collection of Waterford Crystal of Ireland. The Master Cutters collection is the pinnacle of luxury crystal craftsmanship. The piece is cut by hand by a Waterford Artist at the top of the game. Mouth blown, hand finished, sculpted and engraved. Countless hours of artisanship were applied to create this limited edition piece. The element crystal employed here is breathtaking and should you choose the proper showplace for the item, the prismatic brilliance of the crystal will mesmerize.
It features a playful scalloped bowl edge, fans, strawberry and criss cross cuts deep borders and thumbprints. some clear space is present just so that you might catch your breath; and this includes the stem. The base of the foot has a 24 point star cut. Thu underside of the foot is twice Waterford marked, first with the classic period gothic "Waterford" acid stamp and second with an engraved "Waterford" signature.
At 10 pounds, the piece is not shy. It stands 10" and has a mouth opening of 10.5". If you are a sound hound, this piece rings proudly. It will stand as an amazing heirloom.
There condition is excellent. There are a few stray table scuff marks. But there are no chips, cracks or other disturbances that you would not reasonably expect on a piece of this age and provenance.
