Photos are representative of the most noticeable blemishes and do not constitute a complete catalog of every flaw, Wear and patina are a part of the appeal of this piece. As such, no discounts will be given for flaws. There is some very cool craqueleture in the finish of this bed, and otherwise some lovely wear all around particularly on the blanket rail. We think this enhances the aesthetic of the piece but please be advised that the finish is not perfect. There are 3 of the original screws that came with the bed and 1 replacement. The original screws don't actually attach that well and should probably be replaced with something similar to the one replacement. We will leave this up to the buyer as you may have an alternative method you would like to hold the bed together. Addtionally, you will need some type of hardware to keep the box spring within the bed. The space between the side rails is about a half inch to short to put most standard twin mattress in between, so you may need to affix the bunkie board or box spring just above somehow. less
