A very sweet, simple still life with a very interesting story. Purchased at an auction 20 years ago, the info included at that time stated that it was part of the fundraising effort for the Dutch underground movement during World War II. Some unfortunate damage/tear but still wonderful and authentic. Assume Dutch artist. Signed Visser 1941.
