Pair Of Antique Bohemian Ruby Red Glass Ewers.
Europe, likely Germany, circa 1860.
This is a RARE and PAIR of antique Bohemian Ruby Red glass ewers/ decanters.
Typically done for the Middle East market ( Egypt, Syria , Persia , Turkey… ).
This was used to serve Sherbet ( Middle East cold drink ) , usually served in weddings ceremonies.
White and gold enamel decoration all over, with grapes motifs.
Hand blown and hand polished glass to nearly perfection.
