Ensigns are usually required to be flown when entering and leaving the harbor, when sailing through foreign waters and when the ship is signaled to do so by a warship. This one shows wear, mainly at the frayed bottom edge which could easily be remedied by putting in a new hem. Otherwise, there are no tears and colors are vibrant.
