- A handsome antique tilt top tea table with brass wheeled feet, from England, dating to the 1820s. Constructed from beautiful … more A handsome antique tilt top tea table with brass wheeled feet, from England, dating to the 1820s. Constructed from beautiful mahogany, with a rectangular top that showcases matched flamed mahogany veneer. This occasional table was used as a writing surface, as the top has some noticeable wear, including ink stains and water rings. The flamed mahogany is not only gorgeous,it also disguises some of this wear. The base is nicely decorated with beautiful carvings, with a leaf motif that climbs the four legs. The folding design is ingenious and allows easy storage when the table is not in use. All the hardware and mounts are original to the table. Original wheels at the base allow for flexibility and ease of use. less
