The truck or lorry motif glass jars with lids were made for the Fiat Motor Company as promotional pieces- part of a special series made for the anniversary of Fiat Motors in the 1960s with a truck motif and designed to be food containers.

Each jar depicts a different loaded Fiat truck with a sign naming the model. The contents of the supplies carried by the truck are named too depicting the proposed contents of the jars.
