The age is estimated to be … Read more An unsigned Balinese Kamasan painting depicting the "Burning of the God of Love, Samaradahan". The age is estimated to be first half of the 20th century, say circa 1940. Natural ink pigments on linen set in a gold tone glass front frame. Most likely from the Kamasan Village, Klungkung, East Bali. The frame is 33.5" x 34.5" x 1.75". The painting is in very good vintage condition with vibrant colors. The frame has some wear as would be expected with age. Small areas of paint loss to the top of the frame are shown in the photos. See less
