Port Said is a port city in northeastern Egypt, at the mouth of the Suez Canal, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
Early in his life, Yann Letestu set out with his family on a transatlantic crossing under sail from Marseille to Venezuela. This year-long voyage awakened his passion for travel and painting. His paintings reflect the azure memories of his voyages, combining different techniques such as watercolor, ink and oil, on a variety of supports, including old papers and nautical charts. The latter evoke the idea of departing for the unknown and invite us to travel.
The work measures 49 x 99 cm. It is in excellent condition and comes framed, highlighting its beauty and uniqueness.
