*Christian Frosch was born in 1968 in Gräfelfing and lives since 2015 in Greifswald. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and at the Academy of Arts in Düsseldorf.
In 2003 he worked as a guest scholarship holder at the Villa Romana in Florence with the support of the GOLART Foundation Munich, and since 2015 he has been a professor of painting/drawing/space and interdisciplinary artistic strategies at the Caspar David Friedrich Institute of the University of Greifswald.
