A set of six weighty estate sterling silver ice cream forks in the armorial ‘Medallion’ pattern from Gorham Manufacturing Co. Providence Rhode Island, circa 1864.
The terminals show an armorial helmeted soldier encircled within the medallion.
The tined bowls are made to serve ice cream, puddings, or other desserts.
They also work beautifully for serving any jams, dips or relishes when setting out hors d’oeuvres or used on a buffet.
