Vase, johann loetz witwe, decor tricolor phenomen genre 299, ca. 1900, signed the tricolor decoration was first used in 1900 and is particularly impressive due to its play of colors. On the bulbous wall shines the interplay of red, cobalt blue and yellow which is loosened up by the melted light blue silver oxide flakes. The wavy rim gives the vase an interesting dynamic and testifies to a great mastery of the medium glass. The signature “loetz austria” can be found on the bottom. Signed with “loetz austria” bib.: a.
