Each piece is mouthblown and handcut crystal.

The Tommy pattern features a star-shaped base rising to a panel-sided stem to a cross-hatched rondel. The goblet base is diamond cut flowing upward to bevel and pearl punties finishing with a flared mouth.

Pricing reflects condition of one goblet-a rim chip in the lighter colored stem


Condition:
The slightly darker stem is in excellent condition.
The lighter red has a chip on the rim/lip. See last photos. Rim repair and polish a consideration.

Tommy is a renowned collection by Saint-Louis. Introduced in 1928, it gained notoriety when used in a royal banquet at Versailles in 1938 honoring British soldiers (known as 'Tommies'). Debuted to 200 guests including King George VI and Queen Elisabeth where 11 glass varieties were presented in front of each plate.

Saint-Louis, the oldest crystal manufacture in France founded in 1586-a prestigious crystal manufacturer known throughout the world. They are now owned by Hermes. See less
