This is a lavishly dressed woman with puffy sleaves and ruffles of organza white. With only the upper half of her showing, the 3/4 length portrait is intriguing in itself. Her pink suede gloves are an interesting choice, she has a flare for fashion. Her skin and hair are beautifully rendered.
The brushstrokes are soft, and precise, in some areas while gently expressive in others. The overall colors create a bold, dynamic, and very striking portrait painting.
The color palette, composition, and details of this piece are typical of my portrait paintings from this collection.
