Outstanding figural mahogany front with a beautiful open pediment with an large urn final, carved fretwork above the bookcase that opens to interior shelving. Two piece construction with the upper case resting on the slant front desk. The slant front desk opens to interior drawers, rest above four dovetailed constructed drawers with solid brass pulls and escutcheons resting on ogee bracket feet. Marked with baker tag and historic charleston tag. The baker historic charleston collection recreates history's finest furniture from antiques from the 18th and 19th century found in charleston, south carolina. The collection was extremely high end and expensive.
Condition report: very good condition, with some scuffs and scratches as expected with usage. Beautiful showpiece.
