A lovely little antique circa early 1900s Tiffany & Co sterling silver and glass whiskey noggin. Whisky noggins were popular in Edwardian times, they hold 1 gill of liquor, and were made to be taken to bed. It’s basically a tiny bedside decanter. If the past few crazy years have taught us anything, it’s that we all definitely need a little more bedtime whiskey in our lives.
The noggin consists of a traditional blown glass body with cut star base and a sterling silver top. Excellent condition no damage or chips to the glass, and only the slightest signs of age and used to the sterling top. Marked on the neck collar with Tiffany & Co marks, the little tag is marked with English sterling silver marks.
Measures about 4” tall and holds 1 gill or 4 ounces. less
