Hand-knotted in wool, this 4x6 Baluch Afghan rug of the 1950s is the latest to enter Rug & Kilim’s prestigious Antique & Vintage collection.
On the Design:
The piece revels in blue with medallions in gold relishing red, black & white detailing. The borders prevail in muted brown with tribal motifs in bright red & blue. The frame is juxtaposed with the presence of black - balancing the tone play beautifully for a tribal rug with such sharp aesthetics.
