The black lacquer finish accentuates the modern feel of the chairs and it is easy to see how chairs these are the basis for the Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown's "Chippendale Chair" designs. Our upholsterer made sure the pattern of the seats line up from chair to chair. We are calling the seat color "chartreuse", they are actually less green and more tan... A few of the chairs bear the original John Stuart label. less
