Chinese porcelain Buddhist Rose meiping, with a green on black glazed exterior and a white glazed interior and inset base. … Read more Chinese porcelain Buddhist Rose meiping, with a green on black glazed exterior and a white glazed interior and inset base. Four, finely drawn Buddhist roses are quartered, two above and two below, on the body of the vase, with buds and acanthus leaves on a dense ground of intertwining leafy vines. Two clouds adorn the neck and a large band of Ru Yi lappets decorate the foot. A red, You Tang Ya Zhi, Daoguang mark within double blue circles is glazed to the inset base. The finely carved, traditional, Chinese, hongmu stand is included. Circa late 19th century, no later than early 20th.
