Description: Sakyamuni buddha walking, his right leg slightly bent forward, his right hand raised in abhayamudra (gesture of absence of fear, … more Sakyamuni buddha walking, his right leg slightly bent forward, his right hand raised in abhayamudra (gesture of absence of fear, peace and protection), the left extended along his body, wearing a diaphanous samghati held in place by a small belt, his face gives off a serene expression, the symmetry of his arched eyebrows accentuated by an aquiline nose, lips sketching a slight smile. Attention to detail is also evident in the curly headdress, the usnisha and the attached flame.

this sukhotai-style bronze buddha image, very similar to the one also on display at the marble temple (wat benchamabophit), dates from the early 20th century.
