It is very distinctive … Read more This beautiful porcelain tea setting is a Rosenthal Group signature set from the 'Classic Rose' collection. It is very distinctive with its multicolored florals on brilliant white. It is fine German quality. It is in excellent like new condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.

This setting dates from the mid to late 70's. It carries the proper marks and logos of Rosenthal.

Each setting includes:

1 - Footed Tea cup 3 1/3" w x 2 1/2" h
1 - Saucer 5 1/2" w
1 - Bread Plate 7" w

I have 12 settings available, and am willing to do a special price for multiple settings purchased together.

The Rosenthal company was started by Philipp Rosenthal in Germany in 1884. Originally, he was purchasing white ware from the company Hutschenreuther. His wife would then hand paint each piece. These were resold door to door. They had much success, which led to him establishing his own factory in 1891 where he began production of his own white ware. From then on they have become a recognized collectible worldwide, which grow in value each year. See less
