Wilcox Silver Plate antique tea caddy with wrap-around repousse design in neoclassic style. The design is primarily a forest setting with fountains, pillars, trees and flowers, a lady and a child that appears to be playing a flute.
Wilcox Silver Plate Co. designs have been exhibited in several museum exhibitions in the United States and beyond.
Marked on the underside with factory hallmark as shown.
Circa 1880.
Condition is good with exception of expected silver loss in places (see photos).
