Her skirt … more Offered for sale is a vintage fine linen hand towel appliqued with the figure of a dancing ballerina. Her skirt is three dimensional and can be lifted. It is appliqued in white, and edged in pink embroidery. She wears invisible slippers with black ribbon ties. The ballerina is appliqued on a blue-gray linen ground that is edged in white embroidery. One-of-a-kind hand towels were popular during the early to mid 20th century and hand decorated. They are highly collectable and increasingly hard-to-find. Dimensions are: 20 by 14 inches. Condition is excellent. less
