There is some minor rusting on the three chains but nothing that affects the structure or function of the piece. It really looks wonderful. Please review all photographs carefully. less

A wonderful example of Americana inspired artwork, this hand painted tin hanging is covered in the juiciest of summer strawberries. The hanging which is a decorative bird "bath" or feeder, would look lovely hanging in the right spot in a kitchen, butters pantry, or breakfast nook. There are two pieces (they are attached):
The top piece is a basket filled with strawberries tied off with a red bow- this piece is flat and it is the part that the lower piece hangs from. This piece is double sided so that when you hang it from above no matter which way it turns you see the same wonderful artwork.
From this top piece, there are three metal chains that hold the lower piece which has art depicting a strawberry patch. This piece is larger than the top piece and hangs perpandicular to the top piece the three chains ensure it is centered perfectly under the top piece as well. This piece only has artwork on the top portion, the bottom is blackened metal. This piece is slightly curved, forming a shallow "bowl" to hold water or seed for birds (or anything else you would like to put there). Personally I think the piece is more decorative than functional in terms of bird feeding. This is not a criticism as the artwork is so wonderful to look at it would be a shame to cover it up.
