jean-michel noquet (1950 -2015) exhibited for the first time in 1975, when he was awarded the prix d'aquarelle, and since then has continued to exhibit in france, the united states and japan.
his works, reminiscent of those by william turner, pave the way for modern impressionism, in which his figurative style conjures up luminosities that reveal magically captured moments, and an infinite depth where the unreal blends with the tangible.
