This interesting mug is made of porcelain. This character mug is stamped as being made in England by Royal Doulton in 1962 for the Character Jugs From Williamsburg Collection, this piece is titled Bootmaker, see pictures. This jug features a depiction of a man wearing a red hat and a white shirt with a boot, hammer, and a pair of shoes as the handle; the piece is signed "Boot Maker" on the back of the characters shirt.
The measurements are: height=7 1/4" width=6 1/2" depth=5 1/4" approx.
