Italian mid century modern set of four black lacquered curved wood Golem chairs by Vico Magistretti for Carlo Poggi Pavia, 1968. Golem model chairs with black lacquered wooden structure with three curved legs, of which the higher rear one becomes a backrest in the upper part. Padded seat upholstered in black leather. Produced by Carlo Poggi Pavia to a design by Vico Magistretti in 1968. Good condition, slight signs of aging. Measurements in cm 50x56x90h A very particular set of chairs, with very fascinating and unusual clean and sculptural lines. The madness of the shape is totally compensated by the material and the color that want to remain more neutral so as to create a perfect balance and also an easy juxtaposition with other design pieces. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
