Solid oak base with solid padouk elements. Four original wooden shelves, adjustable in height. This wonderful Art Deco Amsterdamse School open bookcase by Willem Retera Wzn was custom made for Paviljoen Vondelpark, a stunning building in the famous city park het Vondelpark in Amsterdam after the renovation of the building in 1918. In very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. We will ship this lovely piece of furniture in a custom made wooden crate for safe transport when purchased by overseas buyers!
