There is a hinged lid with upper and lower lips with a secure snap closure. Hallmarks are: CT intertwined, Sterling. There are monograms in script on the top: P.G.B, June 26, 1973. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Diameter=3 inches, Height from top to bottom=1 inch. This marvelous sterling silver box has been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent vintage condition, free from damage or repairs. There is very light scratching on the bottom and inside surfaces, commensurate with age and use, but they do not diminish the beauty or usability of this lovely box.
